TwiPhone Pilot V1.3.1 Update
TwiPhone Pilot v1.3.1 launched today in the app store and has some exciting new stuff that is not immediately apparent.
The app now refreshes regularly in backgound about every 15 minutes and sends an alert when you have any new Voicemails of Recordings since the last check!
Plus, you get to control what new items you will or will not get alerts for in Settings->Notifications, Alerts, & Marketing->Alert Settings. You can choose not to have any alerts or set a threshold for how long a Voicemail must be before you get an alert. (And if you have more than one number at Twilio, you can choose which ones alert you when a Voicemail is left for them.) Recordings has some similar options but you’ll have to explore that to see if it is useful for you. Check it out now!
We also added an easy option to add a caller to your Contacts right from the Voicemail or Recording view.
And if you’ve ever tried to lookup a Contact when making a call, you’ve probably seen how painfully unresponsive it can be. We fixed that! So now it is easy to pick numbers from your Contacts to make a call to.
There are a couple of other goodies sprinked throughout that make things even better and you will see those from time to time.
Enjoy the improvements!
